Handmade Kurinuki Chawan - Pink #3

Enter the magical world of Portland based ceramic artist So-Min Kang with this one of a kind chawan. A special handbuilt and carved matcha tea bowl using the Japanese Kurinuki technique with complex layers of glazes. All So-Min's chawans are designed with a weighted bottom, evoking the feeling of holding a stone in your hands. This balance also provides greater stability while whisking. 

Capacity is approximately 2 cups.

Each chawan is dishwasher and food safe however we highly encourage handwashing to protect delicate edges.
