Our farm

Our partner farm, Harimaen, is a family-owned Japanese tea company founded in 1858 in Uji, Kyoto, the historic heart of Japanese tea culture. Harimaen specializes in premium organic green teas, including Matcha, Houjicha, Sencha, and Gyokuru.

With a deep respect for nature, they are committed to preserving biodiversity, minimizing water use, and practicing sustainable, organic farming completely free from pesticides and chemical fertilizers.

From Harimaen, We dedicate great care and time to cultivating our tea without the use of pesticides or chemical fertilizers—pursuing what we call “true safety” in every step of the process.

Our Certifications

We are proud to work with a farm that is JAS certified Organic. Less than 0.3% of all tea produced in Japan is grown under JAS (Japanese Agricultural Standard) certifications. Making our certified organic Japanese tea exceptionally rare.
